Description
Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Shift: Evening, Monday to Friday, 3 shifts of 12 hours each (09:40 AM – 10:10 PM)
- Weekend call rotation and possible holiday call responsibilities
- Specialty: Neurosurgery (Tier 6)
- Required neuro experience including care for aneurysm clipping, cervical and lumbar fusion, laminectomy, craniotomy for tumor, subdural hematoma, acoustic cases, and VP shunts
- Work environment includes Hybrid OR with advanced equipment such as sonopet, bone scalpel, bipolar devices (with irrigation), and microscopes (Mitaka, Leica, Kinevo, Pentero)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Neurosurgery experience
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
