Overview

• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day; 4x10 schedule can be accommodated
• Start: ASAP only
• Temp-to-perm: Possible

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Critical Care experience
• PreOp experience
• EPIC experience
• Perioperative RN Residency or recent OR/Perioperative experience
• Preoperative experience

Patient Population

• General
• Ortho
• Urology
• ENT
• Cath lab
• Endo
• GYN
• PEDS

Notable Exclusions

• No neuro patients
• No cardio patients

Onboarding / Training

• New hires attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days
• Initial onboarding includes competency validation and department-specific competency validation
• Annual competency verification is required
