Located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, largest community in the region
Patient population: Adult and geriatric (ages 18-125)

Position Details

Department: Acute Medical/Surgical
Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Medical/Surgical
Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 (guaranteed)
Weekend Hours: Rotating
Patient Ratios: 5:1 to 6:1
Float Requirements: Occasional to similar units
Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Cerner
Equipment used: Telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, Bladder scanner, Dynamaps

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience within the last year
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Additional Information

Orientation occurs bi-weekly
Dress code: Galaxy Blue scrubs preferred (Navy acceptable)
Fingernails must be clean, kept short, and comply with Hand Hygiene Policy
Tattoos that may be offensive must be covered
Excessive jewelry is not allowed

Notes

Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status
