Night shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Every other weekend required

Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology / Cardiology specialty

Licensure & Certifications

Valid CT Technologist license in New York
CT Technologist experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
ARRT certification required
BLS certification required (AHA provider/instructor/RQI accepted)
EPIC charting experience required

Candidate Eligibility

First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates must live within a 75-mile radius

Tertiary Care Hospital with 528 staffed beds

Required Pre-Employment and Onboarding Documentation

Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
7-year criminal background check (including felony, SSN trace, national criminal, sex offender, education verification)
EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 3 months of start, updated monthly
Foreign education equivalency evaluation if applicable
Education verification from primary source (no hard copy degrees)
Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
Fit mask test within 1 year of start, updated annually (specific mask types accepted)
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start; TB questionnaire accepted in lieu of annual renewal
Immunizations or positive titers for: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
Drug screening within 30 days of start (includes amphetamines, cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, opiates, etc.)
Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination during flu season
Snellen eye exam within 1 year of start
COVID vaccination copy preferred but not required

Primary source verification of state license within 30 days of start
Medication/pharmacology competency exam as required
Color blindness testing (one-time)
Competency exam as required by specialty
Photo for badge (passport-style with solid background)
Employment application and work history verification (minimum 2 past employments)
Skills checklist required annually

Notes

Various facility-specific attestations and forms must be completed prior to or during onboarding
Fingerprinting and additional background checks may be required for certain units (Mental Health, Behavioral Health, Home Health Aide, LTC) — check if applicable
References required only for direct hire candidates (2 references within 3 years)
