Overview

Travel RN role in Emergency Services
Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Shift: 1p-1a
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend schedule: rotate every other
Call: push back hours depending on census
One opening

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS
BLS
PALS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Cerner

Preferred

Fast-paced ED experience
Experience with strokes, STEMI’s, and trauma

Unit Details

Emergency Department
32 beds
Patient ratios: 1:4 to 1:5
Trauma level not designated; receives all traumas
Patient population: birth to death
Critical care equipment used

Additional Notes

Float requirements: helping hands in areas where competencies apply
Must start on one of the listed orientation dates
Scrub color: any at this time
Unacceptable attire includes hoodies and inappropriate t-shirts
