Job Overview

Contract role in Lewiston, Maine
Night shift: 7a–7p
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Experience in Charge roles
1 year of critical care nursing experience
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

Role Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency department
Assess patients on admission and throughout their stay
Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood as needed
Provide patient education
Document nursing care, teaching, observations, and patient responses

Additional Notes

Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
The employer may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
