Occupational Therapist - Home Health

Role Overview

  • Occupational Therapist - Home Health
  • Home health assignment based in Alameda County, with territory expanding as needed
  • Day shift, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
  • Experience in a Home Health setting

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize start of care visits
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants
  • Submit start of care visit reporting by the next day
  • Complete clinical notes and other documentation within 48 hours of the visit
  • Maintain timely communication with supervisor, intake, and office
  • Be responsive during normal business hours

Training

  • 3 full days of training: 1 in house and 2 in the field

  • Mileage reimbursement: $0.655/mile from first to last patient
