Registered Nurse – Day Surgery / Procedures (Pre-op/Post-op Phase II)

Job Overview

Provide nursing care for patients in Pre-op and Post-op Phase II within a Day Surgery Unit.
Plan and coordinate quality nursing care following ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.
Collaborate with clinical personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Support the clinical area's philosophy, goals, and shared governance vision.

Work Schedule

Four 10-hour day shifts per week (38 hours total).
Must be available for evening and weekend call rotations.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
Minimum of 3 years of Day Surgery nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
Experience in Pre-Op nursing.
Infusion nursing experience.
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience.
Coronary Care Unit (CCU) experience.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Experience with Epic electronic medical records system.

Additional Requirements

Must reside at least 75 miles away from the facility (radius rule).
Compliance with Colorado CAPS registration requirements may be necessary.

Submit resume, skills sheet, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, proof of flu vaccination, and RN license copy.
Ensure accurate Social Security number and date of birth to avoid onboarding delays.
