Cath Lab Tech

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Port St Lucie, Florida
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30
• Start date is tied to the next applicable orientation date, about 3–4 weeks out
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Local candidates are accepted
• Floating is required within scope, including to sister facilities within about 20 miles
• Call is required on a case-by-case basis
• Weekend needs can be discussed with the manager
• Block scheduling is not available
• All requested time off must be submitted up front

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
• Cath Lab Technologist with 1.5 years of experience
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Cardiac Cath experience
• Vascular experience
• Neuro experience
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT)
• RCIS

Work Environment

• Short-term acute care setting
• 180 staffed beds
• Scrub color: ceil blue
• EPIC charting

Compliance and Onboarding

• Government-issued photo ID required
• E-Verify proof or attestation required
• Background check required
• Federal exclusion checks required
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required before start
• Physical exam required
• TB screening required
• Seasonal influenza vaccination or approved exemption required
• COVID vaccination or approved exemption required
• Two professional references required
• Online onboarding modules must be completed before start
• Time-sensitive onboarding modules should be prioritized immediately after confirmation
