Role

Travel RN in Progressive Care / PCU.

Unit

  • Progressive Care / (61629)
  • 24 beds
  • 2 North, Main building
  • Day shift: Charge, 4-5 RNs, 2-3 PCTs
  • Night shift: Charge, 4-5 RNs, 2 PCTs
  • Patient ratio: 5:1

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • Minimum 1-year current hospital PCU experience
  • ACLS
  • BLS

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cardiac experience
  • Prior Meditech experience

Clinical Focus

  • Tele monitoring
  • Post-op monitoring
  • Post-op recovery of surgical and cath lab patients
  • Post-op ortho patients, including spine and joint

Additional Details

  • 36 hours per week
  • 7A–7P schedule
  • Brand new state-of-the-art unit
  • ADA/Bari rooms
  • Hoyer lifts x2
  • Variety of patient population including elective ortho, spine, GYN surgeries, elective Cath lab procedures, stroke, CIWA, chest pain, renal failure, respiratory failure, and cardiac drips
  • Modified self-scheduling with schedules posted 3 weeks in advance
