Shift: Night (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Unit: Medical/Surgical (6th Floor)
Floating required
Block scheduling is not guaranteed
Patient population: Adults
Common patient diagnoses include post-surgical care for abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity (bariatric surgery)
Specialty equipment used: IV pumps, nasogastric (N/G) tubes, feeding tubes
Scrub color: Navy blue

Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
Prior travel experience required
Active New York RN license with all licenses verified and included at submission
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system
Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics

Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted
Resume must include documented travel experience and skills checklist matching the specialty
