Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
ED - Emergency Department (5 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
1 or more completed travel assignments
BLS
ACLS
PALS
TNCC
CPI
ASLS or NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Experience with MEDITECH

Preferred Qualifications

CPI
ASLS

Schedule Requirements

Every other weekend
Every other holiday

Unit / Patient Population

Emergency department with approximately 180–200 visits per day
Cares for patients from pediatrics through geriatrics
Handles trauma, neuro trauma, ortho, and CVA patients

Work Setting Details

1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Charge nurse present
Nurse aides/paramedics on shift
Security and patient sitters available
Central monitoring techs
Respiratory therapy available 24/7
Pharmacy support available 24/7
Nurses perform lab draws and start IVs
2-shift floor orientation
Caribbean blue scrubs only
