Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Decatur, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
Float to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Adhere to all facility protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
Current ACLS certification required
Current PALS certification required
NIHSS certification required
Prior Emergency Room nursing experience required
Candidates must not reside within a local commutable distance to the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience floating to or working in a Clinical Decision Unit setting
Strong triage and critical thinking skills in high-acuity emergency environments
