Med Surg Nurse
Job Overview
- Contract role in Murphysboro, Illinois
- 13-week assignment
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
- No on-call
Unit Details
- Blended Med Surg unit with Swing Bed and occasional PCU-level patients
- Typical ratios:
- Med Surg: 1:5
- Swing Bed: 1:5–6
- PCU: 1:3–4 when the patient is on a drip
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- 2 years of Med Surg experience
- Med Surg experience within the last year
Additional Notes
- Nurses with a Med Surg background are accepted
- Supervisors assist with assignments based on workload and patient acuity
