Unit: Critical Care Unit (CCU)

Job Details

Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Scheduling: 3 weekend shifts per 4 weeks
Patient Ratio: 2:1 (CCU patients)
Unit Beds: 20
Floating Policy: Contract labor floats before core staff
Documentation System: Meditech
Equipment: GE monitors (recently upgraded), Alaris pumps, Puritan Bennett ventilators
Dress Code: Black scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS certification
BLS certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Experience with Meditech documentation system

Additional Information

Unit has a unit secretary on days and nights with occasional tech support
Focus on advanced critical care skills and technology integration to enhance patient care quality
